This thermal power plant has two units, each unit has two turbines. 1st unit = 2×600mw & 2nd unit = 2×660mw

It is one of biggest Thermal power plant owned by state government in MADHYA PRADESH.. it consist two phases , phase -I 2x600 MW and phase-II 2X660 MW.. All 04units are generating power as per requirement..Coal for this plant is supplied by coal (SECL, WCL, NCL ) via train ways..phase-I was commissioned by BHEL while phase-II was commissioned by L&T power..

Shree Singaji Super Thermal Power Project is a coal-fired power plant located near Dongaliya village near by Mundi of Khandwa District in Madhya Pradesh state of India. This project is owned by MPPGCL (Madhya Pradesh Power Generating company limited). The water required is taken from Indira Sagar Reservoir on Narmada River.
