Visited the Bronx Zoo for Holiday Lights. What a beautiful and well planned holiday activity for the family. The zoo at night decorated with Christmas lights and music is such a wonderful experience! Don't miss a ride on the carousel and the ice sculptures. Of course, have a drink at Africa Village. Become a zoo member and enjoy this world class zoo all year!

Beautiful place with beautiful animals and birds around.. if you want to enjoy everything and be able to see everything in one day, you should be visiting early like around 11am because the zoo is very big, you will have to walk a lot and it closes at 5:30pm nowadays (house of reptiles closes earlier).. also there are many restrooms available and few places to sit relax and eat.. and the main thing is keep sufficient water with you!

Great place. Scheduled our time. No problems parking and getting in. Lots to do and see safely outdoors. Everyone wearing masks and socially distancing. Like a nice hike in the woods with plenty of animals to see at each stop. Gorillas were a great source of entertainment! Had to wait in a long line to go in due to limited numbers of people for safety during Covid. The line moved quickly though. Would definitely do again.

I am giving it 4 stars because the place is amazing but only 1 lion? Only 1 tiger? Where are the big cats? I will definitely go back for sure. Best part of the day was the sea lions! Made my day ❤

The family always loves the zoo. Right now with no indoor enclosures you are limited to just outdoor exhibits and no feedings and trainer events but there is plenty to see. My children always point out the peacocks rule the zoo and can be found pretty much all over. Great day to get out just make sure you make your reservation in advance so you can get in. Also weigh your options with tickets we find that a plus membership is more cost effective since we will visit Brooklyn Bronx and queens zoos.
