Nashville Zoo at Grassmere

My wife and I decided to take our first trip to the Nashville Zoo, and it was so delightful. Seeing all sorts of endangered species of animals being well taken care of was the best part. The Zoo was laid out very well with the paths only being one way and staff were continuously cleaning. We weren’t able to see all the animals due to it being colder the day we went, but that was to be expected. I’d highly recommend the Nashville Zoo to anyone that loves animals and nature!

It was great. Very clean and is set up in a one direction so no crossing paths with other guest. Make sure you check out the men's room at the entrance and the women's by the award-winning Andes Bear exhibit. Staff is helpful and friendly.

The zoo never gets old. We've gone many times and its always fun. All you need is some comfortable shoes. The monkeys are the family favorite. The gift shop is nice. The drinks and snacks are on the high side, but it's worth it for the experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Even though it was close to 100°, it was shady on almost every pathway so it was not bad. The kiosks were open with cold drinks to buy. The price is good. There are things to do in addition to looking at and learning about the animals. It was a fun experience with our grandchildren. Will definitely go again.

Lots of exhibits closed. Not many places to get water.
