Okay! So, we booked a room at The Kumaon from 23rd-25th Nov for a honeymoon couple. We were sent a registration link which never worked! I sent an email to Kumaon asking for an alternate option of doing the registration, after which I received a call from Neeraj informing that the link isn’t working and there is no other way the registration can be completed. I asked him for an alternative to which his response was-“it’s a government portal and not ours. Nothing can be done about it. Try after 3-4 days.” When I told Neeraj that I will be paying 40k for my booking and this is your response to my concern, he clearly told me aap 40k pay kar rahe ho ya kuch bhi, hum kuch nahi kar sakte!! This is how these guys treat you!! This is the famous “Kumaon” ka hospitality!! I am so glad that we got to experience their rude, impolite staff beforehand bcoz I have no clue about how they would have treated the couple after receiving the payment! So glad the stay didn’t happen at all!! And special thanks to Neeraj that he saved our money from being wasted!
The views, the quiet and calmness. Perfect for an idyllic weekend. Modern minimalist design that reflects in everything they do including their food. Loved the stay and the helpful staff headed by Neeraj. Was a total delight being here for the weekend
It’s a beautiful place to stay over amidst the nature. They serve the best kumaoni food. In that cold weather their Amazing hospitality will give you warmth. Place is worth the value and must go place, an unforgettable experience.
