Hari Parbat is a pilgrimage destination and is frequented by thousands of tourists every year.nThe astonishing beauty of this mesmerising hill lies in its lush greenery and unpolluted atmosphere, which in turn, attract hundreds of nature lovers as well as photographers.nIf you are looking for an unexplored destination on the heavenly land of Jammu and Kashmir, then you must visit Hari Parbat.nnThe hilltop also offers panoramic views of Srinagar's downtown district, Dal Lake and the Zarbarwan Mountain rangennApart from learning about its history and religious significance, you can also savour its composed and peaceful environment, which you cannot find everywhere in Srinagar.nnHari Parbat experiences a moderate type of climate throughout the year and hence, it can be visited anytime during a year. However, most of the tourists prefer visiting Hari Parbat during the months of March and April when the temperature is optimum and the climate is cool and pleasant.nnThe region around Hari Parbat has a good road connectivity. Hence, you can easily approach it by road.nnHari Parbat Hill and the paths leading to the fort are found adjacent to Srinagar's old town. Access to the fort may be limited so check with tourism operators before visiting.nnSecurity is quite tight, so make sure you do not carry unnecessary things.

Hari Parbat is a very old fort build by the Mughals, at the top of Hari Parbat mountain.nVisitors will have to get the permission from TRC Dalgate a Tourism department office.nCurrently this attraction is under control of CRPF and you will not be allowed to visit this place without proper authority permission.nnRecently J&K tourism and SDA has inaugrated the Rope way Gondola alike cable car from Rainawari to Shrine of Sultan-ul-Arifeen and then a 10 mins hike to Hari Parbat.nnYou can also visit this place by car or bike from the back side of the mountain locally known as Badamwari Side.

It is very adventurous place established on hill in middle of city.nYou get aerial scenic view of the old city, front line of Zabarwan Range, Shankaracharya Hill and other adjoining ranges as well on a good day.nYou can go up via stairs or you can choose cable car rope way.nThere is also a shrine nearby which is also ambient to visit.
