1. They don't accept any online payment. 2. My room was big with two double bed. The lighting of the room was concentrated only on one half and the other was dark. It gave me headache. 3. They don't provide room heater as advertised. They give electric blanket which take up mobile charging socket. 4. Menu is heavily overpriced with little option. Quality did not comensurate with the price they charged. 5. The only positive was the view from the balcony. 6. Tap is directly over the tub. Poorly designed leaving no space for a bucket to fit under the tap.

I stay here for 1 day it was nice hotel. View from balcony was amazing you can see lachung town and mountains with snow cover. I had dinner buffet here and quality of food was great. Breakfast was ok though i didn't like few things like idali was testing different. Rooms are good with ample option and space. For chilling cold they have electric heated mattresses. Overall this is great hotel.

I read some bad reviews about Summit Khangri Karpo, Lachung. But my opinion is different. Don't expect much things from a hotel in a small village at that altitude. We stayed there during the Christmas week of 2019 and the temperature was below 0 degrees. We had booked Premium Room with Balcony and the room was very spacious. Room had one sofa set, a king size bed, TV and kettle. The view from balcony was good. The bathroom had geyser. The food at the restaurant was very good, especially the buffet dinner. They had packed us breakfast before 6:30 am, as we had to leave early for sightseeing. Lachung usually will have electricity problems. We also had power outage at night, but they provided backup. The only negative I have to say is that they have no room heaters. But the bed heaters are good enough for a good sleep. Our stay was very comfortable and I would recommend this hotel.

We booked this stay because of the heater facility. But apparently there was no electricity the whole night. There was generator backup but the staff refused to turn it on. And also the staff was very rude. As there was no electricity and it was freakishly cold, we asked for an extra blanket. We got it after 3 hours.

Good hotel especially the suite room where you can have a beautiful view of teesta rivee flowing all day long with mesmerizing nature sound..the food quality can be improved alot..also they dont provide facility of wifi inside the room u need to be in lobby area to avail the same we which i feel is annoying
