Congratulations to the Station Masters - Past and Present and the Railway Staff. Kannur is Very welcoming, Excellent Aura. Kannur Locals are Friendly Warm People and even Strangers nod Smilingly at each other. Drop in at the Bake and Joy Bakery outside Kannur Station (left hand side) for excellent Bakery Products. The Staff are very helpful and the Owners are very Humble, Friendly and always give me a discount even without asking for it. Also visit Blue Nile Hotel for Lunch or Dinner. Good Food at Reasonable Price, Good Ambience and Friendly Helpful Staff.

Very well maintained railway station. Much improved in the past two to three years. Used to be filthy earlier. Got a good parking space near to the station which was also developed recently. Newly installed elevator in platforms are of great help to the passengers. Quality refreshments available at the station at very reasonable rate. With the opening of the ticket counter at the collectorate side, station is accessible from both sides.
