Wao. A great example of Indian Royalty and Grandeur. It is a huge area though some part has been converted to hotel and some into private space, still most of the part is open for public visit. It is really kept beautifully preserved and still many things can be seen here which gives true picture of the royalty of the then rulers!

Always love to visit historical places. This Rajasthan palace was one of them for I was so much excited. it's always good to read some history or watch videos about place and characters before visit. It makes me feel more interested and curious to visit. But on visiting day,I was so tired because of weather. Visited around 2 pm and it was sunny in November. Rajasthan day weather is too hot. So best time to visit in morning.My advice to Carry lemon juice which will make u feel hydrated and energized. Also, wear hat and sunglasses.flat slippers are best. Don't carry heavy bag with u as u have to walk to much.

Over the thousands of years of human history, we’ve produced some pretty amazing stuff, even if, sadly, not all of it has latest until today. With many breathtaking and incredible historical sites built by ancient civilizations, literally historical places have soul..🤩

City Palace is one of the major attractions of Udaipur. To see each and every thing placed at the palace properly, it is recommended that you reach the palace at 10Am. Because as the day progresses, the crowd gathers and it might become difficult to see the place peacefully. The sound and light show is amazing. If you wish to know more about the history, you can take a guide as well. The place is quite well maintained. The place has lot of stairs and narrow lanes. Carry a water bottle and wear comfy shoes and you are good to go!

Wonderful Palace. Huge. Scenic. Overwhelming if you have the time, but fulfilling. Take a registered guide. Don't haggle. People are honest in #2020. As this is a private property with immense amounts of prestige attached to it, there are good clean toilets, RO water coolers, and electrical ventilation to keep narrow passages cool. Lots of climbing up and down, so take your time.
