Made a booking for 6 days via OYO and paid the entire amount in advance. However on reaching, the property manager refused to honor the booking mentioning the OYO tie up is no longer there but rooms are available. Called up OYO which didn't help (they expressed helplessness & cancelled the booking & initiated a refund) and given the situation I was in, after travelling more that 12 hrs I opted for the direct booking. What I found a bit strange is that the guest house was still prominently displaying the OYO logo and even provided OYO branded toiletries however room charge was ~20% higher so this suspiciously looked like a well thought out ploy to get more money. On the facilities... the property looked new and rooms were good with working ac, geyser etc. There is no kitchen so you have to go out for meals which is okay since there are nearby eateries. There is a RO device and drinking water is available easily. Overall maintenance & service are lacking and quite poor.

Rooms are neat, of appropriate size, and have good furniture. But the bed corners are sharp and need to be smoothned. Staff are cooperative. Room services need improvement. Filtered water of RO is available all the time. The outer look of the guest house is not so appealing. In house kitchen is not there. Breakfast is provided from outside. Distance from bhubneshwar is also a matter of concern.
