Great place to visit. Family oriented. We thoroughly enjoyed our day at the zoo... the seal show was excellent; the wild bird show was great. Both shows highlighted the importance of conservation and securing the future of wildlife.nStaff are informative, friendly, and helpful.nPlenty of spaces to sit down, have a coffee/snack, break from walking. Toilet facilities are available.

A great zoo with views outlooking Sydney Harbour. Some new interesting set up - for example the tiger trial which is Indonesian inspired.nThe food market didn’t offer the best selection of food (hot chips, chicken tender - canteen type food) and price wise was a little steep for what was on offer. Would have been better if they offered more food options. I really enjoyed reading about the elephant temple and the history of elephants at the zoo.nOverall, a great day out - heaps of parents with kids and babies.

One of the greatest zoos on the planet. The African Savannah zone, the bird show, and the seal shows are all amazing, and the kids had a great day. It was hot, and there could be more seating and shade for patrons at lunch, but with current restrictions, I guess they did their best. Overall, considering the current situation, we had a fun filled day, and we will always be back soon.

Love going here with the kids beautiful views of the harbour, and they love looking at the ferries on the water, and the animals of course.nWe always bring a packed lunch and eat on the hill near the bird show. Enjoy being there, the shows are a bit preachy, but entertaining. The lions and the tigers are always good. Except when they are sleeping. The playgrounds there are good. I would recommend locals get a year long pass and a year long guest pass that's what we've done and it allows us to go together with the kids, or with one of us and a friend

A brilliant zoo experience. Well laid out for a great days walk past so many different animals. It was a privilege to learn about so many species from around Australia & the world.nThe animals looked healthy and had spacious mock habitats, with plenty of enrichment.nWe caught the seal show which was brilliant. The performances of animals was impressive with informative narration and amusing snappy interplay. We could tell the animals enjoyed it had a great relationship with the handlers.nThere was a consistent theme of education toward animal welfare and wildlife conservation.nPastries and refreshments available in cafes were of excellent quality.nWe weren’t able to use the cable car as it was closed due to COVID, but we look forward to experiencing it in the future when it reopens.
