This Library is located right on a very busy road. Many people visit this library and read newspapers, periodicals and books of many subjects. Librarian stated that about 80000 books are there and they lend book too for a fee. Reasonably well maintained place and drinking water is provided for the visitors. No restrooms are available. Parking is happening only on roads as there is no designated area.

The government managed District Public Library in Villivakkam, the road outside the library has plenty of two wheeler parking space, there are few eateries just opp and a famous bakery also close by.
