The second most intriguing monument in the compound. From outside our looks like it is two storeyed, but the structure from inside shows how it is only usable as an audience hall with the emperor placed high above on an embellished and tastefully done column. A lovely building which would surely catch your attention

This hall of private audience for Akbar has an ornate central pillar for his seating. The intricate carving on this pillar has to be seen to be truly appreciated. Not to be missed, it is a good place for entire family to visit when you are at Fatehpur Sikri.
