One and one of the oldest library of santipur, situated with municipal high school . It is open for all kind of students like schhol , college, university or private organizations. Just you have to make library card . The building need maintenance. The table chair are very old . It has a playground in front of the library. But most nasty things are , we can see , some students always smoke there in front of library, taking alcohol, chatting, playing card etc , its very bad for students. The library authority need to take action against this . And library need more focus on making suitable environment for study, shouldn't allow to enter in library premises except students. Library also need to store more books. Location is good . Library sometimes organise many cultural program . Flower show is very entertaining. Playground is useful for playing football and cricket . Book fair also very famous here . Sometimes party meetings also organised here .
