Good old place. Here takes place the famous book-fare of Krishnagar. Many other govt fares line trade-fare, cultural-fare do take place here. Good and rare books are available but the service and staffs are not up to date. Does not have a computer generated catalogue yet...

Situated right to the public library, one of the oldest libraries. The hall is renovated from the 1860's building to modern one in 1998, where many cultural functions are held throughout the year. Old style big buildings, wide open ground at the heart of the city makes it absolutely a concert sopt.

You can find many types of books here... The bookies smell inside the library, I love the most.
