Taxi Hire Delhi

The Agent itself is very polite, quick responses and informative. However, The driver was very tricky during our first day in Delhi. Refused to send us to Jama Masjid and said that the road was too small and convinced us to use the cycle rickshaw that he seem to make deal with for the price of 300 INR for 2 person. We refused and planed to walk from Redfort instead the driver still trying to lie that our next stop which is Ashardam Temple will be closed at 5 pm (the actual time closing is about 7 pm) so walking from Redfort to Jama Madjid would caused us to miss visiting the Ashardam. We had to miss Jama Masjid!! And feel very uncomfortable with the driver. Day 2 in Delhi, After not succeeding any trick with us. The driver seem to be nicer. But again at Lunch time, we want to go to the restaurant called the Grammar room, the driver agreed to take us, but drove pass the restaurant and about to drop us to another different place, once we realized he told us that he misunderstood about the name!! The driver had a lot of excuses!! too many. We wanted to go to an ambiance mall, but the driver refused to drop us off inside the mall area. Instead let us walk from the street and on the way back it was raining. The driver told us, the place won't allow any big vehicle inside the property!! We wasted a lot of time and energy talking to him so we let it go most of the time. It was very disappointing. Another thing is the driver ask us to write a review on tripadvisor in his car!! Of course the review is nice cause we are afraid that we will get into trouble if we didn't write a good review!! Last but not least, the driver complained about the tips he got from us!! Seriously, not a day in Delhi that he wasn't tell us lies. We just came back from Leh and had a wonderful time there. The driver was so nice and we tipped him without any second thought. The driver in Leh wasn't even count the tip in front of us, just thank you and put the money away so politely. We didn't expect the same thing but your driver shouldn't be asking for more tips or complaining about how much he's got from the others. He lied so many time. Tricked us the whole time in Delhi. I hope he understand the power of internet, the information that flow around. His actions will soon be recognized by many other people and he will not be able to get money from anyone anymore.
