There website is an amazing resource for information and products pertaining to raising freshwater shrimp! I cannot recommend consulting it highly enough and that is so far what the 2 stars are for.nnUpdate 8/26:nGot my order today faster than expected. Ordered 10 shrimp but one appears to have been eaten during the 2 day shipment, as is life. The surviving 9 look healthy and happy thus far. Packaging was outstanding with cooler packs and cotton surrounding the shrimp bag in the box. My only complaint if I had one is that the bag was tied so small and tight that it gave the shrimps limited room during shipping.nnI highly recommend The Shrimp Farm in the end if you're new to the hobby, but I would advise contacting them initially to see if they are backlogged so you don't run into issues like I had (see old info).nnOld:nI placed my order 2 weeks ago for 10 cherry shrimp and some wood for them yet I have to this date not received my order nor an email that it has been shipped. When attempting to enquirer by email as to the status of my order, I was told that it would for sure be sent out on Wednesday of the first week. It wasn’t. Subsequent emails went unanswered until earlier this week when I got a reply stating that I asked for a refund. I did not. I just would like my order. Since then, no response, no order, no refund (not that I want it).nnNormally I would give poor reviews and I hate doing it, but I received an automated email from them today as if I received my order and asking me to review them. I will update this review if and when I receive my order.

These are the BUSIEST little guys I've ever owned. I usually buy shrimp with a bad attitude because I can rarely keep them alive but these guys are awesome to watch and are even willing to feed in my hand. I ordered 10 and about 12-15 arrived and only one didn't make it. Instructions were included for acclimating them and the process was super easy. There was a sudden change of weather and it was super cold when they arrived, but the packaging was SUPER padded/insulated with a heating pad. Changed my shrimp experience and I will be a returning customer ud83dude4c

I have ordered several times and twice now they have shorted me on the number of shrimp I ordered. Last time they credited me for one shrimp, but I have received no reply this time around. Their shrimp are decent and have good color, but I get shorted about 1/3 of the time which is too much especially when only ordering 10 shrimp. It may cost a few dollars more but go with a different company or breeder for your shrimp needs! Also, it shipped 8 days later than the website said when ordering.

I got 2 orders of cherry red shrimp. I accidentally killed the first order. (Don’t ask) After the shrimp Armageddon, I was left with 13 shrimp. 5 months later I now have more shrimp than I can count. Both orders of shrimp arrived heathy and alive. I cannot be more happy with the population boom I have. I highly recommend ordering with The Shrimp Farm.

I found customer service to be responsive, friendly and helpful and I felt like they appreciated me as a customer. The shrimp arrived a day early and in good shape with a dozen babies to boot!nnTank introduction instructions were easy to follow and the shrimp did very well. My kids have enjoyed watching them scurry around the tank! Great purchase and a very positive experience.
