It was nice seeing the two elephants .nBut they are not well treated and faded.nTheir face were looking very innocent .nThe management should take action on the fooding and caring of the animals .
Depressing experience. Animals were kept in inhuman conditions. Elephant enclosure was a joke. There were 2 elephants which you spot of you used Binoculars. The field outside elephant's cage ( yes, cage) was filthy and dirty. I wonder why this Zoo is currently kept open. If there is so much 'upgrade' thats happening, then why to trouble the visitors by keeping it open.
Here in this Jijamata udyan and zoo, there are two to four elephants, couldn't count them as the were no visible. They were around seven to nine feet tall. Elephants are long away or in the shelter so we can't see them. But few rare time they come closer to walls all together, which is best time for snaps. This elephants look healthy and happy.
