Good library

In the quiet part of the university, higher than all the academic buildings, situated within the premises of the school building, is our great and traditional library. The geographical spread of its lower storey is about 50,000 square feet, and the floor of the nine-storey building is spread over 6000 square feet. The library is one of the largest collection of books in the country, in which 5 lakh books and more than 50000 editions are stored.nnIt covers an average of 10000 books every year through suggestions from faculty and students from various disciplines. It keeps repeating the editions of the books as needed.nThe library also buys about 1000 journals, about 1000 serial real literature to earn the knowledge of its contemporary research scholars of national and international fields. Apart from making the talent of the university fertile through physical study material, it also provides indirect study material in the form of books floppy, CD-ROM and internet.nThe library is on the post list of almost all the leading newspapers of the world, all publications of the Government of India as well as international agencies like WHO, UNESCO etc.nThe library has transactional relationships with many Indian and international agencies and national libraries around the world. The library has its own local system which is connected with a strong server with 4 terminals within the library. The library has a collection of books, series and other materials in the Open Public Use Catalog. It is a member of Delhi Library System and INFLIBNET. The library is a part of the university's wide area system and its database can be used through any system. The library is primarily required to obtain electronic collections through faculty. The library also purchases online journals related to computer science through INDEST, such as Relations for Computing Machinery (ACM) and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) digital libraries. The online digital library provides a complete collection of IEEE and ACM magazines, conference proceedings and newspaper articles.
