Big bus stand for pondy 1.Located at center of the city 2.Buses available for all the routes to Tamil Nadu 3.Specially to chennai 24x7 bus service available 4.well connected with Vilupuram and Tindivanam by both private and Govt buses 5.Frequent buses to Bangalore and Thiruvannamalai 6.But the bus stand is not neatly maintained though there is only one bus stand for pondy 7.Toilet facilities available but not well maintained 8.shopping markets available by walking distance 9. All the long route private buses would not come inside rather would stand outside during pickup or drop (like KPN/YBM/Kallada)

Not much organised being a government owned bus stand. Toilets and hygene is very low. No proper display of departure schedule and routes. Not an easy place for outsider who doesn't know to read or speak local language like tamil

Easily accessible from all places. Quite clean. Connects all major places. Good frequency of buses. Buses of all kinds are available.The counter staff can be a bit more friendly. Good service overall.
