Hidden paradise.. located around 5km from the jetty and 2 km from the market junction it is a pvt resort which is yet a mystery for the locals only high end travellers may access it. The U&I resort ?

Planning to visit this gem of a property in the near future. And i must say that even now, much prior to the visit, it has not failed to impress. The customer service and the hospitality that they offer even to their potential guests is absolutely spot on. I live outside of India and hence the only option for me was to converse by mail, the concierge and the head of operations were very prompt in their replies and even helped me pan out the intricate logistics in ensuring i have everything taken care of. Cant wait to visit this exquisite (wouldn't wan't to call it resort, as it is so much more) property and share my experience soon!

No words can describe how much I enjoyed my stay at Jalakara, being here really felt like I was in touch with nature, disconnected from the rest of the world. Needless to say, the rooms are spectacular, each room is bespoke and designed in a very boutique manner... The pool deck offers a beautiful view of Havelock’s lush green and diverse nature.nnWhat’s most special about this place is the staff, they really make you feel important and are efficient in their work. Jalakara truly lives up to it’s reputation for being the best hotel in Havelock.

We had such a wonderful time staying here. One of the most beautiful places I've ever visited. This small private hotel is a gem, amazing views over the tree tops, its been really nicely designed and was very relaxed. Best holiday ever!
