Presently not open for the public due to covid guidelines, but has good collection of books and friendly staff.

This is not exactly a public library, you are not allowed inside unless you have a library card. And obtaining a library card is most tedious process. Notification gets published every 2-3 years that means if u missed the notification that supposedly got published today you will have to wait for another 2-3years to apply at next time and may be able to get your card. so it all means if you have a card u r king and if u don't have it ofcourse u r a beggar. I understand the space constraint but they can allow atleast certain no. of people at any given time of everyday in which there wud be some new people who wud get opportunity. The no. of entrants at any given time should be displayed outside the entrace and people should be allowed inside with their aadhar card, further screening/verification systems if necessary like finger print scanner may be installed. Everyone has a right to knowledge when it is sponsored by state through public libraries.

The library is situated opposite to the keshari talkies.To visit the library you must have to have the membership card for which you shall have to bring the certificate of your course along with the passport size photo and the copy of aadhar card Xerox. The membership fee is rupees 225 for beginners. Here students and professors of various universities flock together. Staffs are very good and friendly,really.

The best thing of this library z the silence & infrastructure maintained in the library & only one thing i don't like that of government holidays. But it is the best place for students & study lover😃😄😀😁😊

Peaceful reading inside the perfect environment. Different types of important books & journals are available here. I need to visit again to again to gain more interesting facts & figures.🙏🙂really books are true friends. Thanks a lot.
