One of the best libraries v have in mysore. It has been maintained for almost 70yrs. The collection is unbelievable so amazing books, magazines, journals relating to scientific inventions, achievements, and general information books.

The central library at CFTRI made in 1950 and in order to meet the emerging needs. A small completely to food science and technology was conceived on a small scale as early as 1966 which later come to be known as Food Science and Technology Information Services (FOSTIS).
