Located on the third floor of the city palace. This museum is just like any other museum. They charge Rs 10 for Indians and give you a lot of information in return. It has three big halls one about books, other about weapons and one about music art and culture. It's very informative. You can find Akhbar and Jahangir's sword here as well.

The way to alwar museum goes through narrow lanes. Do not take your private vehicle instead get an auto rickshaw. The whole city palace is used as the collectorate office. The place is not maintained as a tourist destination. You will find it very difficult to even find the way to the Alwar museum which is located on the top floor.nThe museum has 3 halls and has an average collection of artifacts mainly from the period of the Alwar maharaja.

Way to Alwar museum is very bad, you will get frustrated before reaching there. It's located on top floor and the way is through collectorate office. Not well maintained.
