NEHU Central Library

It is one of the biggest libraries of North East India. It has a wide variety of books in it covering almost all the subjects. The reading room and the reference section is really good. The staff is also very helpful. You can also order books which is not available through the help of dellnet.

The Central library has a huge collection of books, magazines, novels, CDs etc which caters to all age groups. IT has got ample paid parking on the road. Browsing and reading books, magazines and newspapers is open for all and is free. The variety of reading material is immense and it is a paradise for bibliophiles. The place is centrally air conditioned and has got very relaxing and ample seating. It is open six days a week and is closed only on national holidays. The place is within the campus very near to the Town texi stand which makes it easily accessible.Nice way for reading enthusiasts to spend their day fruitfully.

Best thing is mostly all books are available you are looking for and all the facilities available which should have in a library. Worst part is if you are imposed with late fine even for Rs.5 you need to make demand draft from bank.
