Before apply for a Passport take a proper discussion about your all detailed required documents (Parents name, address based, etc.). Otherwise they will take BRIBE. They will tell you that the amount will be charged by Kolkata Head office. But that is a big LIE.

The center is located just behind the entrance of the main post office. You have to follow a narrow road adjacent to the right side of the post office to reach there. It has started its service from February, 2018. Not so well developed. Documents are verified by an officer sitting outside a room and another officer will take your photo and digital finger prints inside that room. You need to carry 2 passport size photos with white background with yourself. People can wait for their turn inside the center. You can find 5-6 plastic chairs. Officers are well behaved and aware of their duties. All over a good place for getting a quick service.
