See Through Resort Haad Yao

The resort its nice and decorated pretty well but the staff isn't really friendly. We stay a night more than what we have paid and they made us wait for the room like a new check in even when the room was empty, make no sense. The restaurant in front of the beach has great food, one of the best Haad Yao by far.

We were guests of the See Trough in August 2019.nBy day the structure look like a large concrete casting, but at night, thanks to perfect lighting it completely changes its face.nWe had a bungalow across the street, surrounded by tropical vegetation.nThe bungalow inside was very clean, with air conditioning ( no safety box ).nWe took a look at the hotel rooms and they looked good.nIn the morning breakfast served close to the beach with an enchanting view.nThe choice between 3 different types of menus it is not vast but sufficient to meet customer needs.nThe See Trough offer an excellent scooters rental service, transfer to and from the port of Thongsala at very affordable prices.nThe girls at the front desk have always been kind and competent.nI hope to return as soon as possible.

Lovely restaurant along the beach with good food. The bungalows are large with nice hammocks hanging on the balcony. The bungalows could be greatly improved with the addition of a fridge and safe. Great value for the price!

At first it seems like a nice place, unfortunately at a closer look we got another impression. Our first bungalow had some cockroaches, so at 11pm after the staff was gone, we had to spray the whole place with Baygon, resulting in a toxic atmosphere, even after hours of ventilation. The next day we were moved to another bungalow. that one unfortunately was in bad repair, not closing bathroom door, key card reader falling out of the wall, low pressure shower and many ants. I am not complaining about the bugs, as we are in a tropical country, but overall the experience was rather mediocre, considering the dirty pool with loose tiles, unattentive staff, no wifi in the bungalows.

Bungalows across the street from the main hotel have no wifi. What kind of resort in 2019 doesn't provide wifi? But it gets worse. Both me and my friend have zero reception in the bungalow. The mobile issue is not the resorts fault, but just keep in mind, once inside the bungalow you are basically in the stone age. AC unit was also weak. Stay was pretty indifferent towards guests. Room was clean.
