About the Host: Wonderful host and mind blowing hospitality. Very helpful and because of his guidance our stay was amazing in his homestay.nnFood: You can enjoy some tasty foods from this homestay and you can taste the local organic foods from his own farming ground.nnRate: Rates of foods are little bit higher. We paid 2000₹ for : 7 veg + 1 non veg plates. And in veg plates 2~3 vegetables were available.nnRoom rates: Place is wonderful and if you want to take pleasure of local hospitality then its worthfull. Otherwise, it can seems little bit over priced.nnCab Charges: Cab charges are too high and this was not expected at all. We paid 1200₹ for a 14km distance from Sribadam to Bermiuk. And when I asked the local cab drivers they told me normal rate is 600₹. This was not expected from the cab driver ( Karma ji).nnI will definitely recommend this homestay and the beloved host but also recommend to arrange your own cab from outside. And if you have tight budget then take your foods from outside restaurant (lots of restaurant available in the main road).nnFor host's helpful and wonderful hospitality I will give him 10/10.

Sribadam as a village and Eshab as a homestay had things that dreams are made of! Lush green farm, impeccable cottages, super tasty 100% organic food and wonderful people who run this homestay made my 3 day stay a very fulfilling one. One can easily spend a week here with the awesome people running this - Kesang, Fito uncle, Thendup, Rohit, Preetika. They have a pretty neat collection of books if that will help with what you are planning to do when you are there. The hikes to the waterfall and the pine forest on the way, add to the reasons why I will be back! Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Kesang and his family have truly made this place a home away from home for me. With their incredible kindness, amazing food, and beautiful surrounding environment, this is a perfect place to stay awhile. The region is also rich in culture and offers a window into a more traditional Sikkimese way of life.

I came Eshap homestay in late afternoon with the question in mind that why my leader planned for a long distance- on the slippery road along the Hymalayan range after Fani cyclone- to take us to this homestay, why she spent 10 days here last year and back with us just after 1 year. Just spending more than 1 day here but I was persuaded that my leader's plan is a correct choice.nnAt Eshap homestay, I feel as back home, especially at the end of the jouney of 10 days from south east to north in Sikkim, except the landscape on the way is so spectacular. Eshap homestay welcomed my leader and us as family's members as if after long time away from home.nnThe homestay is in a small village and is so lovely, fine in every small corner, from the colourful warm living room, the book shelf, the garden view kitchen, the wooden room with window view to garden, the lovely dustbins around the homestay, the flower, vegetable and fruit garden, the wooden table view to the village's playing yard where I read book, heard the sound of birds chirping under blue sunny sky in the morning.nnPeople in Eshap homestay and neighbours are so nice and friendly from Kesang- a handsome, young, composed host, to Rohit who fully supported for all our vietnamese meals, to Pritica- a little girl with the shy smile, silent at home but look like a princess when had chance to go out with us, to Gobal- the neighbour- spent whole day to take us around the village, to farm, to market freely. Knowing that we would like to see sunrise in the valley, it was late at night that time but Kesang quickly arranged a car and made schedule in the early morning for us. He also supported us to prepare for the camera and experience to fully catch up the sunrise moment. Then he got up early in the morning to go with us even he had a cough.nnLeaving the homestay but we will keep all your smiles in our heart. Wishing you all good health and always keep nature smile. Take care!nThuỷ from Vietnam, stayed in 3-5/5/2019

The peaceful cottage in the midst of the nature was such a blissful place to stay. The evenings are most beautiful with dim ligts on the garden, its picturesque. The aithentic lepcha food was very delicious. You get all the food even nonveg from their farm only, hence organic. If you want to have some peace restored in the mundane city life-perfect place to go.
