Kelkar Library (Purushottam Kashinath Kelkar Library) formerly known as Central Library, is the property of Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur Spread over building covering an area of 5730 square meters and with all with modern amenities and situated in three floors located in the middle of the academic area of Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. The Library remains open, for 358 days of the year, from 8 a.m. to 12 midnight on all working days; 9 a.m. to 12 midnight on Saturdays; 9 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. on Sundays and Gazetted holidays and for 24 hours during the two examinations each semester.nhere we can find lot of information services and access to bibliographic, full text both in digital and printed resources to support the scholarly and information needs of all students, faculty members and staff.
