It is a Free Public Library open to all. This Library has a newspaper & magazine section in the ground floor,and three separate sections for children,female and computer on the first floor. This has just been inaugurated on 2nd October by the noted authoress Nabanita DebSen.nnAt present it has a small collection of books. The government has already sanctioned 4 posts for this Library. It is expected that these posts will be filled up quickly and the collection of books will grow in number under the able guidance of the Bengal Library Association(BLA)
