Elephant Zone, Alipur Zoo

The giant Indian elephant is a must visit to see the actual inhabitants of large patches of forests in India. These tuskers mostly feed on fresh green grass. They beat the soil with their foot to uproot the grass, followed by bundling and swaying the grass with their trunk to remove the dirt in them. It was a spectacular view.

There are two Indian elephant. They both have tusks but small one.One may see enjoying them pulling bark of tree .
