KMVN guest houses have the best locations, and this too is not an exception. Although this one is not very well-maintained (till March 2019, presently not known) but its location compensates every shortcoming. Rooms are not so good (as I found in 2019), but food is good. Staff is helpful and courteous.

The location is good... rooms are good but old style... Himalayas view from deluxe room is better than cottages,garden is nice, stuffs are very good.

Amazing lodge run by the govt. Service is ok and as expected in this price range and location. However, the views are excellent and you can easily spend a couple of days in this hill town. Good part is the location of the lodge is in a very sparsely populated area.
