Great budget friendly place in close proximity to the Maya Devi temple complex. Rooms are spacious and the bathroom was great equipped with hot water. The owner and the staff are super friendly and will help you out to figure out what to do in lumbini. Offers great value for money and is highly recommended

Bad wifi. No hot shower. They tried to make me pay 13% more than the price I booked the room for. 1 star because the owners seem to be very nice people and took the time to explain how I could leave Lumbini with the local bus.

The room I had right at the front was really noisy opposite reception and I was woken up by people coming up the metal stairs even though the door was supposed to be shut at 10pm. There was no hot water and the bed was very hard. It would be better if the owners stuck to one fair price and made a note of what they agreed. Be aware that the prices they charge you are more than double what is listen online, because of this and because I heard the woman at reception offering a man in the room next to me a rate of about half what she then said to me, I thought that she was telling me the rate for 2 nights (I had made it clear that I wanted to stay for 2 nights) however when I checked out they tried to make me pay double what we agreed. I tried to explain to the guy on reception who didn’t speak very good English and left to get the bus to Kathmandu. He followed me to the bus and phoned the manager to also come, they refused to get off the bus until I gave them more money, which I eventually did to get them to go away because it was so embarrassing that they were holding up the bus. I want to believe that it was a simple misunderstanding but I think that they just want to try and bleed as much money from people as possible. When I bought by bus ticket from them they told me there was only one bus leaving to Kathmandu and that was why it was so expensive but in the morning I saw several other buses also leaving for Kathmandu.

The room was hot as hell. If I had a choice, I would go sleep under a tree rather than the room.Poor service
