Room was very small still the owner son arranged us two rooms for the same price he provides correct information about the places and for the tour but unfortunately didn't work for us coz our tour was already over and we stayed for the last night before departure.. The bad experience was when we enter the premises without welcoming the staff keeps telling about the charges for the basic facilities like electric blankets heater food etc.. So got irritated..

Alamdar guest house is one of the best guest house of srinagar with all basic aminities at a moderate rate near dal lake. you will feel like a home over here, its a nice place to stay, i had a wonderful experience of 4 nights with this guest house. it provides you a beautiful atmosphere ( beautiful garden surrounded with different flowers ) along with its neat and clean room for a stay. without any doubt its a perfect place to stay. The best thing is that you can't get a single negative review by any of the guest, who ever been to this guest house gave a very positive review. sahil is the owner of this guest house and he is a perfect guy to help u out through out your stay.

Can't recommend this place enough! If you want to experience true Kashmiri hospitality, this is the right place! Big and clean rooms, quiet location, hot water and comfy beds, perfect place to unwind before or after your Kashmiri adventures. Sahil will help you with getting local transport, arranging a shikara ride, and will answer every question you have about Kashmir :)

Awesome experience! The hospitality and courtesy of the owner was the best part of my stay at this guesthouse.nnThe price was very cheap. The guest house provided with hot water facility 24/7. The guest house is located in a nice and peaceful location less than a kilometre from the Dalgate.nnI highly recommend people to stay at this guesthouse while visiting Srinagar. Thanks!
