Ramada Plaza by Wyndham JHV Varanasi

One of the better 5 star hotels located near cantonment area in Varanasi. Rooms are well maintained and good interiors. Service is also good and hospitable. Suits are really great. Food quality is also good and moderately expensive. Have been properly adhering to Covid-19 guidelines to prevent any case in minimal operation.

Never felt like staying in a 5 star. Let me elaborate in every step: Sanitisation: The first impression in today's time. Seems like no one cares. After staying and being pampered in Taj Ganges, this appeared to be a clear miss. No one cared about sanitising luggage. Check-in: It was smooth and not much waiting Room: Room size is decent for 2 people with basic amenities, however, the washroom is pretty small. There are cracks inside the washroom. Considering the tough times for the hotel industry, this can be ignored. But, unfortunately, there is nothing inside minibar. Food: Unfortunately, that's a big mismatch. Forget fresh, food was completely tasteless. Just put boiled stuff in gravy and masala. The only edible item would have been the roti we order. So, one can assume. Breakfast: Thought we were in a South Indian restaurant. Hardly anything. A 2-star hotel can give a better spread. Check-out: Since it was booked through Makemytrip, they just said invoice will be sent directly by them. They just don't bother to take customer feedback. Ramada may be a 5-star property, but we witnessed was an Oyo Room service. So, please make your decision carefully before you decide to stay over there.
