The place is good for the price. Room had a good size with bed and a couch. Room was clean. Hot water available on request, only ask at reception and it will be hot in around 20 minutes. Location is perfect for viewing (roof top) and visiting the Taj Mahal. Staff was nice and helpful. Don't expect a fancy place and you will be fine!

It's a very budget hotel. Couple of rooms were OK...good for solo or men travellers...Will not recommend for couples...Location is very close to Taj Mahal...That's plus point

Chained distressed monkey on the premises!!!!!!After visiting the Taj Mahal we went for a coffee at a rooftop cafe that overlooks this disgusting place. We didn't see much but what we did see was appalling.....either the owner or someone the owner has given permission to, has a monkey chained up and he is forcing it to jump from wall to wall and throwing potatoes for it to fetch in order to provide some sort of sick entertainment for the guests. Needs reporting and shutting down!

SHANTI LODGE IS SITUATED BETWEEN SOUTH AND EAST GATE OF TAJMAHAL NEAR CHOWK KAGZIYAN TAJGANJ AGRA.THIS RESTURANT IS VERY OLD iN HOTEL INDUSTRY.U FIND HERE GOOD EVERY TYPE OF INTERNATIONAL FOOD.BUT THERE IS NO SELF PARKING HERE.U WILL GET HERE BREAKFAST AND LATE NIGHT COFEE.
