One of the most recommended place to visit in Bhopal. Covered with trees with an amazing view of the lake make this place a real natural beauty in the middle of the city. You can find many animals like lion, tiger, white tiger, bear, crocodiles, snakes, and many more. You can take your own vehicle for the safari, you also rent or bring your own bicycle for the safari. Try to go in morning time this is the time you can see maximum of the animals. Place would be loved with the company of family, friends or even solo. Children will also love this place alot.

Amazing place for a early.morning activity. Its a shame the park only opens at 630am...earlier would have been even better. The park has an amazing biodiversity especially when it comes to bird species. it is also very well maintained and has clear signs indicating the directions or any instructions.

Take your own vehicle for a safari in the protected jungle/ zoo. Be it 2 wheeer or 4 wheeler, maintaining a speed of 20 km/hr is very much necessary. Every main spots you will find water and toilets. Child friendly. They will surely enjoy seeing the animals. Most of the common wild animals are found here.

Van Vihar National Park is a national park in Bhopal, the capital city of Madhya Pradesh in central India. Declared a national park in 1979, it covers an area of about 4.45 km. It has the status of a national park, but is developed and managed as a modern zoological park, following the guidelines of the Central Zoo Authority. Animals are kept in near natural habitats. Most animals are either orphaned and brought from various parts of the state or are exchanged from other zoos. No animal is deliberately captured from the forest

An amazing place to relax and at the same time get a taste of nature. Best time to visit is in the early morning. Total stretch is of 5km which includes places of various animals, reptiles and birds. In the evening you might get to see some deer on the road at the section near to that of crocodile.
