We had a pleasant day cruise on 6/6/2019.Owner Mr.Joseph is a nice fellow with good service attitude. Booking and planning was smooth .He will give all details before booking which he can provide,never compel us for anything. Boat is well maintained and rooms are neat and clean. Food was delicious. The staffs are service service oriented.

customer service and handling of customers was rude by the owner - Joesph. we rented the whole boat but he did not want us to use the 2 rooms so he can save on the AC bill and was forcing 3 of us to sleep in 1 room. the way he handled the conversation with women was insulting and made us fear for our security during our stay. made the whole experience bad.nThe break fast option they provided us was bread and butter, totally underwhelming.nOn the upside, the food (lunch & dinner) was tasty and surroundings were beautiful. other aspects like room, neatness was ok.

Nice experience in houseboat also inside house boat your meal allow after talk boat manager & .. mr. Joseph very sincere person .. in day trip I recommended without food trip for only vegterian person.. #gujjuman# our trip 11pm to 5pm ride 8500 for 18 person so very reasonable price ..you come allepy book Genesis houseboat.

The Genesis houseboat is true to it's name.It gives you the true Kerela backwaters experience. But the hospitality goes beyond just the backwatersfrom arranging transport from the airport to arranging a private tour to a toddi shop before embarking on a Journey on an exquisite houseboat, the services offered by Genesis Houseboats, Mr. Joseph in particular was nothing less than spectacular.nThe crew was extremely courteous, the onboard chef was a magician when it came to authentic Kerela cuisine and the experience was nothing less than amazing to picking our own fresh catch from the backwaters fish market to driving the houseboat on our own (yes they took a chance on us). The experience was phenomenal and I would give them nothing less than 5 stars, 6 if the option was available.nLook no further just book now.
