Only budget hotel, service could be better but no.

Very good location, especially for the hornbill festival as it's close to the night market but far enough not be annoying. The rooms are ok - drafty and fungus, but that's just the way it is in northeast India. What really upset us was that one night the owner got really drunk and made a lot of noise. So after a night with not that much sleep we got beer offered for breakfast. One time is a joke but he just didn't stop trying to pressure my husband into drinking beer at 7 in the morning for breakfast. Then he punched my shoulder. I guess he intended a friendly slap on the shoulder which turned out more violent as intended. We then decided to have breakfast somewhere else.

Very good place.nWe paid 1000Rs per night with breakfast include. (Kohima seems overpriced for low budget traveller, and this is probably your best choice)nThe place is clean and bed are confortable. There is TV and hot shower.nThe staff and the owner are very convenient and helpfull.nIt's also well located.nI would recommand it.

Absolutely fantastic.. price is economical and the care taker lady Anita treats people nice and polite.. 5 star..
