Nov 2019 (AU) - This hotel 'Palace' ( a bit of a stretch) was lovely to look at but on closer inspection looked very tired , dusty, torn in places and unkept. My room felt like it wasn't dusted for years. I was scared to move the velvet curtains. My aircon didn't work. The room comes with complimentary water, tea & coffee. The single beds and pillows were hard and old. They needed replacing. I was given a table cloth (square) as a bed sheet with a slimy feeling blanket. My friends next door got one double sheet to share between them on their queen bed. I was in a small room in the back right corner on level two. The cutlery and placemats on the dining room table were cheap and the food was very average. I was not impressed and I would be embarrassed if I were the 'King & Queen' (owners) and it were my place. It reminded me of my British great grandmother's old house.

Interesting accommodation which I enjoyed for a change.nHowever no hot water In shower and no filtered drinking water provided which was disappointing.
