That is a beutiful and ancient fort

The palace fort on hillock beside village. The fort is having good fortification, bastions and monuments. Presently being used as Resort. A historic fort linked to battle of Marathas in 1787. This fort was built by Madho Singh ji nearly 400 years ago and renovated and converted into heritage hotel by Thakur Bhawani Singh Ji in July 2000.

Good place for family enjoy.

The accomodation itself was basic (no AC) but everything worked. I had a warmish shower, one of my better night's sleep and some simple but very tasty buffet meals. However none of those things are why you come to the Madhogsrh fort! It's all about the wonderful views from the ramparts over drinks or breakfast as well as the opportunity to stay in such a historic building which is being carefully restored. I thoroughly enjoyed it - one of the best experiences of my trip.
