It has very good greeneries and natural forest...its so beautiful tourist place..

The people in umaria are with helping nature.polite n good recieving aspect. Low rate of criminal activities.calm n peaceful atmosphere you feel here.I had visited umaria in1980...I'm from Andhra,but the people in umaria doesn't show any partiality.

Good city. Bandhavgadh national park is to explore here. Also city is very clean

Very small railway station. Only one tea stall available in the platform. ticket counter small area. It is very close to Bandhavgarh national park. Only 35 km from park. Public bus, auto available.

Station is neat and clean, sitting facility is also good, but drinking water facility is not proper. Almost all long route train halt here, for Bandhavgarh national park this is nearest railway station which is directly connected with jabalpur and Raipur. Try to book tickets online because staff of this station are very rude and unprofessional. If you will try to complaint against them u may face problem with higher level. Night car parking facilities available but don't trust the parking person. Don't forget to take all valuable items from your car.
