Tea view homestay

Awesome location. We stay there for three days. Nice people, delicious food, excellent view of city makes our holidays memorable.

It was an average experience. The only reason that I gave 3 stars is because of location (Happy Valley Tea Estate view from window) and homestay owners helpful behavior. There was no TV in room. Hot water was there but not available in early morning by 6 AM. Moreover, it is not a homestay but a 2 star hotel with a homestay tag. There was a lot of traffic issue in city hence we covered few places only by walk as taking a car would have been a waste, possible as my stay was in the city.nP.S.: There is no good picture for the hotel to post other than location of the hotel!nLet me say a few word for Darjeeling as well.nDarjeeling city is not at all being maintained and there is a lot of garbage and bad smell wherever you go. Main market road is the worst of all. All the natural streams waterfall nearby darjeeling city are displaying plastic waste in different colors! I don't think I will visit this city ever again unless some miracles done by administration! Well that is very unlikely and so is me visiting ever again!

Excellent happy valley view. The hotel is new and clean. The beds are comfortable, a lot of natural light. The family who runs the hotel is really nice, they kept our big luggage while we went to Sikkim. The price is a big higher for a backpacker. It’s more a medium budget hotel, but it really worth it. The WiFi is very fast, but Only if you are close to the stairs. We were in the last two room on the second floor and the signal was a bit weak, so we had to go close to the reception. But except of that everything was excellent.
