Beautiful zoo on top of the hill. 120 rupees to and fro in a shuttle jeep. Not many animals but in good condition. Never seen such big tigers and leopard up close. Red panda was cute, stamina required to walk up and downs in the zoo. Felt sad for Tibetan wolves, they were sad. Animals are not stressed out like other zoos. My family has a memorable time. Highly recommend if you visit Nanital.

One of the best zoo you will visit in town. Situated at high altitude. Two ways to reach one by stairs and other way by which you can reach by your own car. I would say do not take stairs as they are very tough. The zoo experience is very good, with loads of wildlife and extinct species. There are arrow marking for the guided way to reach every animal one by one. There is 100 rs charge for adult and 50 for children. Must visit place with children specially.

Good place to visit in Nainital. Situated in the main city @ Mall road. The lake can be seen on the opposite road. Zoo is at high elevation so their is uphill ride of 1.5km. You can take your own vehicle. Beware of local cab drivers who misguide tourists telling you cannot take your vehicle uphill and will ask you to take their pickup and drop services. You can surely take your vehicle and their is adequate parking space also above, though the way is slightly narrow. Zoo has all exotic animal species. V. Good orientation show at the entrance. 100 rs is entry fee to zoo and 30rs for orientation show. Canteen is also there.

Loved this place!! Bengal tiger, leopard, black Himalayan beer, wolf and many more animals and birds are heart pleasing for wild life lover. Scientific museum showing earth and human evolution is also there. Nainital city and lake view is eye catching and pleasing. Entry fee is Rs. 100/- per person and is worthy paying.

An extremely well managed unit giving a glimpse of Nature's awsomeness. The rare breeds of birds was specially enticing besides the leopards, lions and bears.. Wolves included. Staff was extremely cordial, well behaved and following covid precautions. The gallery and museum depicting flora and fauna of Uttarakhand was very informative. Walked in Casually... Walked out happy and enriched.
