I had went to Kedar Biniwale for filing a divorce case. He initially advised me to file a false police complaint for dowry against my husband and then told me it would cost 25000/- for drafting and filing the complaint. Next he asked for 50%of this amount which I transferred. This was 12500/- before diwali. Then after calling him and msging him several times he called me after 5 days and introduced me to another lawyer saying that she handles our family court cases. She told me she would call me to read the drafted complaint the next day. But as usual no one called. Then biniwale said it would happen after diwali. It's been almost 20 days. In between I found another lawyer who told me there was no need for the police complaint plus nobody charges for it. Then we called him so he stopped picking our calls. So, finally when we went to his office unannounced he kept asking his people for the police complaint but nobody knew anything about it. And when we told him we have hired someone else. He was totally fine and refused to return the money saying he had invested time in my case. He had met with me twice and had nothing to produce for his work. This was my experience. He doesn't even check your msgs once the amount is received. I have been to 7 lawyers but he is the only one who charged me before doing any work.
