M.C. Zoological Park, Chhat Bir Zoo, Zirakpur

One of the best Zoological park of Northern India ud83dudc4dud83dudc4d. Must visit here with children. Built in pollution free environment and well maintained as well as managed. Staff is very polite and friendly with all visitors. Parking facilities are also good. Must visit here ud83dudc4d ud83dudc4d.

Zoo is closed due to Covid 19

This is chatt bir zoo located in zirakpur area.Its easy to go here , can go by sharing vehicle and its outside the city ,for college and school students you can go there and they charge little or no amount for students and for others it was about ₹ 60 when I visited there in March 2019 and its good to go place,kids will really enjoy there, tiger,lion hippopotamus and emu and many more animals can be found here, white peacock and different types of monkeys are also here. Its near Air force station.nBus and paid services are there for roaming around here and one can go by walking as well, it will take around 1-1:30 minutes to go around and have a quick look over zoo and you would love this place,Here are some of the pics that I've added.

It's a beautiful and huge zoo located in zirakpur. I got to see a ton of animals but was saddened over seeing them caged behind the bar. Except for that it was good.

Nice place to visit with your children they will definitely enjoy. Avoid visiting in summers. Food availability is not good inside the zoo.
