Very nice and cozy place located just outside the main town. It is on the main road but the house is away from the noise and dust of the road, nestled in the middle of trees.nThe house is an old historic building with cozy rooms and modernized bathrooms.nThey provide secure parking off the main road from where you walk down to the house.nThe food is excellent, cooked by the host Madhavi and they grow most of their vegetables in the compound.

This place is absolutely amazing. A cozy weekend getaway. You'll feel home away from home. The hospitality and the ambience is absolutely lit.

EVERYTHING about Sunnymead is PERFECT. We stayed at the world's most beautiful house, ate the best food of our life, heard the most fascinating stories, and cuddled with crazy dogs. There wasn't much time to read, but knowing that the books are there, just made it the perfect home. Madhavi and Madhu are loving angels everyone will fall in love with, and helped us have a blessed experience.

Sunnymead is such an unique place . I have stayed at many beautiful places in India but I've never seen such attention to detail. The decoration, the furniture, the books and, oh my god, the food. From the bacon and poached eggs for breakfast to the fresh cookies and amazing chai in the afternoon to the lavish dinner with delicious salad, soup, main course and dessert - veg or non veg (my husband is vegetarian and he was evenly satisfied) - it's absolutely high class! And Madhavi is such a great host. Not just that she makes sure you have everything you need at any time, she had also great stories to tell. Her family and heritage is so fascinating and her dedication to maintain traditions of the region is impressive! The absolutely adorable dogs and colourful garden (even in January) just top the whole thing. Madhavi, whenever you feel like adopting a city girl, give me a call :)
