This is a home away from home to those economically poor but meritorious students (seeking admission to High school & college) from rural areas of Uttara Kannada district and beyond. Founder members themselves are those received free boarding and lodging in the century-old organization viz., Sri Ramakrishna Students’ Home which is in VV Puram of Bengaluru.nnAmenities provided are adequate and it is maintained well as well as run very well. Inmates have to follow Home rules through which the boarders get all round development during their stay there which will make them responsible citizens when they come out of this institution. No doubt this institution derives rich experience and expertise from it’s parent organization in Bengaluru. Going forward, this Home can be a most sought after Home for many students from poor background in Uttara Kannada district.

It is, as the name indicates, a hostel meant for students. It is not available to visitors. So, review is not relevant.
