Jahangir Mahal

This place has so much history! Beautifully built and the guides are great, they have so much knowledge and tell you much informational and interesting stuff that dates back 100s of years. There's definitely lot of pride when you're around here.nnJust be mindful of you have infants or elderly with you, since there's definitely lot of walking and esp if you're climbing up for the shaving views from the upper floors of the fort, the steps are extremely steep and tiring!nnHowever, one disappointment was the entire place being a tourist site was crowded but not at one place did we see any sanitization or masking protocol being followed. In fact our guide himself didn't have any mask on! Would really appreciate if MP Tourism can pose strict safety standards for visitors in tones of a global pandemic.

The establishment of the Jahangir Mahal dates back to the 17th century A.D. when the ruler of the region Vir Singh Deo built the structure as a symbol of warm reception of the Mughal Emperor Jahangir, during the latter’s first visit to the city.

This palace is amazing ud83dudc9b right from the architecture to its history, I am sure that whoever visits this place will be in awe of it! If you are a historical architecture buff then this palace is a MUST VISIT! Make sure you get a guide to know about the history behind this beauty.
