Patiala zoo is part of Patiala Bir. It's on outskirts of Patiala city. Connecting roads are good. Has number of bird species, lot of monkeys and deer. Has a small canteen or eating joint at entry gate with limited options. A small playing area with 2-3 swings at entry gate. You can spend 2 hrs at zoo with kids and plan for sheesh mahal visit along with.
This is a quite good place for time pass.nTo the see the activities of animals like monkeys and deer is a cheerful moment.
basically Patiala is an oldest city and historical place.patiala lassi every one heard this name but the taste of Patiala lassi u can only get the real lassi taste only in Patiala.
A small and beautiful zoo in Patiala.Good place for visit .ticket price is reasonable.small food shop is there for snacks.Various types of animals and birds are there like peacock,monkeys,deer,love birds etc .the old name of this zoo is deer park.There are various deer in the zoo. Clean inside and outside.One crocodile in also in the water.Sitting arrangement is good.Its like a small picnic spot for the children to know about the birds and their names.I like this zoo.Provide proper food to the birds and animals by the staff
The Patiala zoo is a major attraction for children. It houses a wide variety of animals. There are different species of sparrows, monkeys, alligators, peacocks, rabbits and deers found here.nnOne can explore the Deer Park. It is a haven for the bird watchers. The park is situated 5-6 kms away from the main city and can be visited between sunrise and sunset.nnThe zoo is the best place to get closer to nature and enjoy the greenery, shady trees and a long water body. There is a small cafeteria for refreshment.
