A place with fresh air and peace. 6000 years old temple is amazing.

t's an ancient temple (historically not much information was given there) in Sariska lying at the lap of Aravalli mountains. It's a beautiful, calm and picturesque site. The ancient relics nearby the temple work as one of the beautifying factors. The road that leads to the temple though, is difficult and broken. Half the way it goes through the middle of the jungle followed by an uphill movement of 3-4kms towards the temple and one should keep enough time in hand for the up/down journey to be covered. But once you reach there, the pleasant surroundings of the Shiva temple along with the meaningful sculpture pleases and guarantees to soothe you.

This is a very old temple of lord shiva near sariska. The temple and the old architecture near it is really beautiful. The road tho reach there will give you a beautiful view by the hills.

There are two ways of coming to this temple which is very beautiful not maintained properly but nevertheless an architectural marvel. There is a lake behind it and has lot of peacocks in its compound.nYou can come either through sariska which would cost you 5000 rupees in addition to what you would be paying for safari or you can come through the other way which has two issues ; 1. It will take you another 70kms and lot of time and 2. the road is too steep and not built. Your bike can skid or you can fall of any hair pin bend.

Beautiful place. Must visit. But road to the temple is in very bad condition. Small hatchback won't be able to go there.
